Original Comment I bought a Kenmore Fridge Model 10659912703 about 9 months ago. Initially I was very happy with the unit but after 3 months during shut down the compressor starting to make a banging sound. It was so loud that I have to close my bedroom door at night to prevent it from waking me up at times. I have called Sears out twice to replaced the compressor and each time I was told by the tech the sound was normal even after informing them my mother has the same unit with no such noise during shut shut down. It has gotten to the point now that after shut down the compressor rattles at times for about 45 sec. Doing research on this I have found that there are internal mounts springs that more than likely are causing my problem and the compressor could last another year or fail tomorrow. I am sure if I call Sears I will just get the same run around. As you know the best type of advertisement for any Corporation is word of mouth, as of right now both you and Sears are not doing very well when it comes to that. I am not one to yell and scream when I have problems with a company, but as of right now I will never buy another product from you or Sears.
