I just left the Planet Fitness gym in Universal City, Texas, trying to get my money refunded from them continuing to bill me after my membership was up. The young lady stated she couldn't do a refund that a check would have to be mailed out to me and that check would come from the corporate office in New Hampshire. I asked her why couldn't she just request that they refund my money the same way they mistakenly withdrew it and her response was that she did not know how and she and would have to get instructions and permission from the New Hampshire office. It was the fall of this year where this same PF gym double-billed customers and with that incident, they refunded members accounts. One of the reasons I chose not to continue with another yearly membership with PF is because they don't have fitness/cardio classes. In addition this particular gym has what seems to me, an inexperienced staff. When I joined I was not given any type of instructions on how to use the equipment and also, often times when I was at the gym, it was not the cleanest. Howeer, because I had the black card membership, I traveled a lot and utilized other PF gyms in Alabama and Ohio and I was greatly impressed with their staff and the cleanliness and organization of their facilities.
