Original Comment I stayed at the Days inn Barstow, ca. On 1/11/15 when we got to the lobby there was a sign saying the elevator was broken and it looked like it had been there a while. We checked in and were given a 1st floor room facing the pool, what we weren't told was that we were gonna be next to the housekeeping laundry room...it was fine until 11:30pm when we were trying to go to sleep and the housekeepers were out there talking and laughing outside our room, I opened the door and asked politely if they could be quieter that we were trying to sleep and they said ok sorry, I thought that was the end of that but nope! Low and behold they were back at it at 1:30am! Out there having the laughs and talking really loud...so I opened the door and said PLEASE! It is 1:30am we are trying to sleep! Again I was told ok sorry! They kept going until 2:30am!! I thought the housekeepers were there to work not socialize!! I talked to the person in the office in the morning and told her what happened and all she could say was "oh sorry I'll talk to the housekeeper " that's it?? I paid $86.00 for a dingy ugly room which I wasn't even comfortable getting under the blankets of the bed, we could hear the people upstairs walking back and forth "all night" so we got barely any sleep!! With all this said, I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER DAYS INN EVER AGAIN!! I feel ripped off and disrespected!! I will make sure to post my complaint on every site I can find to make sure that no one else has the terrible experience that I did!! This is definitely the worst hotel experience I have ever had!! Congratulations Days inn your hotels are AWFUL!!
