I received an offer to join AAA through the mail, but I am already a member. I would think the company would know who their members are and not send mailings asking them to join if they are already members. It is irritating to me so I called the customer service line and the person who answered said they can not control the mailings. I would think that the people doing the mailings some how get paid by AAA so AAA should be able and willing to provide them with information of who NOT to send the mailings to. If I get a mailing from a company I deal with I open it to find out what it says and don't want to waste my time on mailings that I should not be getting. I told your rep that I don't appreciate a company who doesn't know that I am a member so I would likely not join again if I get another mailing like that. Your rep said nothing could be done as the people doing the mailings are independent and it was up to me if I stayed a member. They hung up when I asked for their name.
