Original Comment Dresses have been TOO SHORT for the last couple of years, and show no sign of getting longer. I am not particularly tall, but dresses that are less than 41 inches long do not cover my kneecaps, and after a certain age most of us don't look good with dresses shorter than that. For that matter, lots of women who are younger and in great shape don't look good in short dresses, either; it depends on your body proportions. I have passed up MANY otherwise wonderful dresses(and did so again today) because of this. Nordstrom should demand that the manufacturers make dresses longer, or at least give us a decent hem allowance (and not so many topstitched hems) so that we have a choice. You'll sell more dresses if you do this! Please!
