I just read the first 2 comments on this page a realized that it wasn't just me who's fed up with Netspends customer service. I referred a friend about a week ago and called about the referral bonus. I was given 6 different answers by 6 people, two of them were supervisors. One guy told us that both of us needed to add $40 to ohr accounts to get the bonus, another one said that the referral code was invalid and that my account was not active (I just received a direct deposit a few days ago and withdrew money so its very much active) , a supervisor told me that everything was fine and that all we had to do was go to the webpage and enter info and once he gets his permanent card, we would get the bonus. The guy I talked to today said we wouldn't get the bonus becuz we went about it the wrong way. Smh. I have been. Member since 2008 and customer service has always been a problem. They need to invest some of the millions of dollars they're making off of us and get some more training for their reps. I think I'm gonna take my business to a company who has together.
