On February 12, 2015 I was in the process of getting a bundle package through AT&T; however, I was informed while the worker's were in my home that I was not able to get cable services, due to the company not having U-verse in my area. Direct TV came out the same day, and I was not able to get a satellite installed b/c of the location of my apartment. I cancelled the service the very moment while the service men were still in my home; the same day I received an email that the order was cancelled. However, I received a bill for services that I never used and that was terminated the same day as the scheduled appointment. Nonetheless, I called a service representative to explain that the services were cancelled the same day they came out to the home, and was informed that their records show that the service was cancelled. I went as far as to tell the people that if they ever get service in my area, I would change my service to AT & T. Long story short; after speaking with several representatives and returning their equipment, AT & T now have collection agencies calling my job and my home. This is unfair, and unacceptable. I did not use their service one day. Service men were still in my home when I cancelled my services and they are putting a bad mark by my name when the services were cancelled the same day they came, which is indicated in their records. I would like for this matter to be cleared up expeditiously, it is not fair that I should be harassed at work or at home by collection agency due to an error on AT&T Representative. I appreciate help in this matter.
