Original Comment I received a robo letter from a David Banks with AT&amp;T Consumer Marketing stating they were sorry we had decided to have our phone disconnected We actually switched to our local cable provider after 25+ yrs. with AT&amp;T due to an AT&amp;T rep. lying to me back in Jan. 2015. He stated we could have bundled services of local land line, DSL internet, and DirectTV's Ultimate package for $96/mo. guaranteed for two years if we switched from Dish to DirectTV. Our bills started at 20-30% higher than I was quoted. After spending hours on the phone with AT&amp;T reps. over five months, I decided I had had enough of their B.S.<br /> <br /> The best part of switching was being able to keep both our phone number and our e-mail address.
