My husband and I have been consumers since the business started in Columbus, Ohio in 1976. My daughter was even involved in your interactive programming. We have been using autopay for several years on my husband's bank account. He passed away a few months ago and my first and foremost plan was to switch the autopay from his account to my bank account. Well, I did that, however your people at Columbus T-W put through a double payment, even though the account had been paid by my husband's account. This has brought a wrath of problems. To get the extra payment off my bank account, I had to have the bank, (PNC) intervene. I have been trying to make a payment of $197 eversince the end of June. By accident, the incorrect debit card was used on my husband's closed account, so it looks a payment bounced. That was an error. You must realize that my daughter and I are trying to balance a closed account with autopays on it and an active account with no autopays. His account was Huntington and mine is PNC. Now they are saying that my account is blocked and I have to present cash or m.o. for payment at the pay station. I cannot do that. I am handicapped and also have macular degeneration. My daughter works fulltime. I would think that since the mistake was made by Time-Warner that kicked this whole thing off that you would be trying to help me. It was your fault at that time. I don't want to switch cable companies or get my lawyer involved and since we have been good customers of T-W I would think that you would bend over backwards to help me. So what's it going to be? Also, unrelated, except when dealing with customer service - would you please have understandable English speaking agents. They talk too fast and they do not pronouce words correctly. Thanks, Jill S. Eliot
