I have bought Kenmore appliances for over 40 years and when I buy an appliance valued at over $4000 I will have been without my refrigerator for 35 days next Monday and 5 visits later from a technician. Oh wait! The "rude customer service rep from Sears" says you should read the fine print 4 confirmed visits in 24 months. THEN during and AFTER the sale and other sales said NO it's said 4 visits in 12 months and you get a new appliance THEN the RUDE rep says NO its closed tickets in 24 months. No WONDER Sears is closing in town of over 130,00 people and the only city within 200 miles north or south. You are forced to continue appliance agreements to assure that you don't have to pay for repairs at almost $500 a piece and stuck with a big useless box. Kenmore you should know that Sears is no longer a viable partner. No hard working expensive appliance should run on computers, break down and last for a year. Wished I had something from the 50's 60's built to last. My washer and dryer and all appliances are Kenmore Elite. Growing up we had Kenmore. Wished I had a Detroit Jewel back! All my appliances are Kenmore. Your engineers should be fired! My new Kenmore wall oven takes over 30 minutes to heat up. I have a new remodeled kitchen with DUD appliances. Sears is in trouble and they are avoiding the problem. I have been patient and courteous knowing the reps and repairman are not at fault. BUT Kenmore needs to put the mechanics back into their appliances. Know where my food is? In the Kenmore frig we bought in 1999 in the garage! Quote from repairman: "Computers are subject to power surges and "downtime". We have had no storms or surges. Uh NO! The workhorse appliances didn't do this. Bottom line Sears says that repair visits don't count until the repairman closes a ticket. So we have 2? Next Monday will b 5 visits. OH! The front electrical panel was replace 3 days AFTER we bought it. Facts are Opposite what we were told. The Sears Rep: QUOTE "If you had a problem when you bought the appliance you should have requested a replacement then NOT now." What? We have had to unplug the refrigerator with doors open for over 20 days! We have a lemon and no one cares and get ready for a social media campaign! It's bad to screw someone of the media for over 30 years. Call it a Rossen Report in a sense all the way up to major cable companies. CEO's of Kenmore AGAIN Sears is closing here by Thanksgiving Day. It's a ghost town in our HUGE "once upon a time" Sears store. Local Sears people are great and had the same rep for over 19 years. No MORE Excuses! Techs receiving this message....throw it on the CEO's desk! I know you got it because I was with both NBC,Time Warner and Webmasters for over 30 years. Even YOU don't get the respect you deserve and you know what I'm talking about! Sorry my patience and consideration has come down to this. Blessings to a great company. Make it right!
