Original Comment I bought a gold series dishwasher in April 2015. It does not clean the dishes, and the water does not get hot. I have talked to a Whirlpool rep., supervisor and manager with no satisfaction. All they can say is I'm sorry I understand. Sorry doesn't make my dishwasher work any better. I have had 2 service men come and both said there was nothing wrong, but could not give me a reason why the water did not get hot enough. The water in my previous dishwasher was very hot. The manager said all they could do was file a complaint. That doesn't make my dishwasher work any better. They do not replace defective appliances if the service men say there is nothing wrong. I shouldn't have to wash dishes by hand after washing them in the dishwasher. By the way it takes 41/2 hours for the dishwasher to go thru its cycle. Whirlpool calls that energy efficient. I will never buy another whirlpool appliance or another brand made by whirlpool. I will also spread the word to others.
