Well I have to start out by stating that I have eaten at subways for years and for the most part they are usually very good, I have had some average experiences but this last time was a joke. I think a few things play out here. 1, the fact that it was a call in order, 2, we should have inspected the order. Ordered six, 6 inch subs. All had very little meat on them or at least that is how it appeared. My first 3 bites of my sub was nothing but bread. The reactions of the other members of the lunch party was the same. I called the store to express my dissatifaction and was met with "they were built to the formula set forth by corporate. The manager went on to say that she did my order and that she does every order as if it were her own and makes sure they look good. I brought mine back in and opened it in front of her and asked, "is this what you consider good. I had to laugh because it looked terrible. I expressed that I had requested extra olives and she told be there were extras. I had six slices of olives, subways says that when asked for olives the amount put on a six inch sub is 3. Not 3 olives, 3 slices of olive which equals less than a full olive. I spent $30 on barely eatable food and when I complained the manager told me all she could do was to offer me 2 coupons for six subs. Oredered six, got garbage, ended up with 2 coupons that I doubt I will ever use because I will never go into that subway again. I get needing to keep costs down so they make a profit, but they need to learn that this costs them more money. Give a customer a decent meal for a deceant price made the decent way is how to make more profit. This would create return business and in the food industry, that is were the profit is.
