Original Comment On 17 April, 2016 I checked in to the Days Inn located on Sadler Road, Fernandina Bch., FL. There were several issues that I would like to cover. First, the lock on the door kept failing and it took approx. 3 hours for the maintenance man, and causing us not to leave the property with fear of not being able to get back in. Second, maid service was sporadic and when I asked the service person, she rolled her eyes. Third, 3 charter buses arrived on Friday, 22 April for two nights. This group was loud, rude and totally disrespectful to the current guest. When I reported my concurs, to my knowledge, the staff took no actions and the same issues continued on Saturday, 23 April. Forth, a contract painting service was on site using a spray painter and both my rental and my Mother POV were covered with over spray. The painting service spent 3-4 hours cleaning the vehicles and were only able to remove about 90% of the paint. Fifth, on my check out date, 24 April I was locked IN the room due to the failure AGAIN on the door lock situation. There was a mention of the changes to my stay, however, there was nothing said upon my checking out. It was just a sad situation and I'm very disappointed.
