Purchased a Whirlpool top loading washer in Sept. 2015 from Lowes. Has been nothing but trouble since purchased. Spent three months with it working off and on. Finally service tech changed out a small filter and it quit turning itself on and off. Clothes are twisted when load finished. Clothes not clean. Not quiet as advertised.......Whirring noise when operating very irritating and spin cycle louder than our old Whirlpool washer. Nothing coming out of it smells clean. Used freshner as recommended. Use Tide HE as recommended. Use softner ball as recommended. Washing heavy quilts is a nightmare! Seams are pulling out of things from the way this washer washes! What makes Whirlpool think they can tell me how much water a load of clothes I put in my washer needs to have to become clean to me?! What makes Whirlpool think that I NEED my washer to LOCK? Who at Whirlpool actually put in a load of clothes like my family wears and then took them out and said "Wow, this twisted mass of material is exactly how I want my wash to look like when done?" I've always had Whirlpool but right not I think we need a class action against WP to give us new washers to replace these defective washers they've told us are what we need to be using! Will no longer be a WP customer or recommend them EVER.
