I have been trying since March 30th to cancel my HughesNet account. The first call was made on March 30th and after going through the options on the automated system it put me on hold to connect me to someone that could cancel my account. I then got a recorded message that said no one was able to help me and then disconnected.<br /> <br /> I then went to the Tech Support and put through an email message asking to have my account cancelled, but have not gotten a response. I called HughesNet again on April 1. I did actually get through to a live person, but they said they were unable to process the cancellation. I due understand that with the corona virus there are issues with staffing, but I don't feel I should have to continue to pay for something I am no longer using. We have disconnected the HughesNet satellite and router. We now have another Internet provider.
