A day after my birthday which is 05/06/2020.I was going down Covington Pike to Stage to go to Barlett in Memphis Tn when a taco bell sign was in the middle of the street & the taco bell sign kicked up into the air and the iron part that sticks down in the yard went into my 2016 Dodge Challenger and bust my radiator and condenser.I made a report at taco bell,I have pictures and I'm sure taco bell have cameras to see what happened that day.And if not I'm sure with as many businesses as it is around that intersection someone has cameras. But this is very sad that I'm a single black mom raising 3 teenagers;Working under pressure because of Covid19 and have to go thru something that's so big for me but so small for taco bell.My vehicle is now in Gossett Motors Service Dept it's costing me 1900 just to get my car fixed.I asked Gossett motor service dept to keep the parts that came off of my vehicle so i can have for evidence along with the other evidence that I'm working on now to get. This incident happened on May 06,2020 and as of today its May 14,2020 still haven't heard from anyone concerning my vehicle.I called and asked for a copy of the report that they made while i was there they refused to give me a copy and refuse to call me or anything for that matters. But I'm going to do whatever i have to to be reimbursed for the damages because I was just riding down the street minding my business i didn't ask for this to happen to me but it happened and i feel that if managers and employees would just do a check here and there when the wind is high outside to make sure that the signs are still in the yard instead of blown into the street or down the side walk they can avoid something like this to ever happen to anyone else.Because this is called Negligence.
