As a Customer of Navy Federal Credit Union for a number of years I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH the customer service I received on 10/30 at 5424 Forest Dr #100, Columbia, SC 29206. I live in Charlotte NC and I recently had an emergency that funds were needed on a particular date and time. I drove an Hour and 30 minutes to the branch because there is no physical or shared location in Charlotte NC. I made a phone call to make sure that they wouldn't close early because my arrival time was 4:51 ( Bank Closes at 5) I arrived and got into the drive thru. After waiting in line 10-12 minutes I was handed a sign that says I was last in line to be served. I got to the window and was assisted by a very rude gentleman. I asked for a certain amount from my account and he said we only do a certain amount through the drive thru window... I paused and said ok may I come in and finish my transaction I have driven and hour and 30 minutes to get here ... he bluntly said we are closed now , but you can go to the atm and he knew that the atm had a limit of what could be taken out from there ( I didn't have a card to use at the atm because the bank had just mailed a new one the day before because my card had been compromised and I had not received it yet) I have never been so hurt driving all the way back home after being loyal to a bank for so many years. Needless to say I will be closing my account with Navy Federal. <br /> Thank you to those that have exemplified great customer service. But this was definitely an example that one apple really did ruin the whole bunch.
