Original Comment I have ate at the I Hop in Oxford Alabama since it opened 20+ years. It recently changed hands or management and the service has gone to the dogs! The servers are quit good and extremely pleasant but the food service is pitiful. It is not uncommon to stand waiting to be logged in for seating for 10 minutes or more. No one at the front of the store to greet and seat. I have seen many couples and groups leave because no one would acknowledge that they were there. I used to eat there 4 to 5 times a week but have dropped to 1 or 2 times a week now. In the last 5 times I have been there 3 of those times my food came out cold. It was not the servers fault as I heard them call her name and she brought my food right to the table. They also seem to be out of a lot of items on the menu since the new management has taken over. I do like I Hop and try to eat at one when I travel. But the Oxford store has been my home store for a long time and I hate to leave but it seems to be an unpleasant place to eat anymore.
