UPS used to be my preferred carrier, but after two iPhones - the original and its replacement - were stolen by your employees once they reached the Charlotte Distribution Center, I have lost respect for your company. The iPhone in question was my daughter's only Christmas present and was ordered on launch weekend from Apple. We keep our phones for several years, so my daughter wanted a specific phone in a specific color. It made sense to order early. Her first phone arrived in Charlotte and was scheduled for delivery on November 1st, but was never delivered. After two days in Charlotte, I went down to the UPS Distribution Center on Jeff Adams Drive in an attempt to locate it. A couple of employees searched for it - while I waited about 20-30 minutes - and came back empty handed. One of the employees said to me, "You people need to learn how to order phones" before he turned and walked away. The second phone was scheduled to be delivered on November 15th. Again, the phone arrived in Charlotte, but was never delivered. Finally, I gave up, placed an order online for in-store pickup, and drove 90 minutes round trip to an Apple Store. I had to buy a larger capacity phone to get the color and model my daughter wanted, so I was out an extra $200 - not to mention the time I wasted sitting at home waiting for the original phones to be delivered. After refunding me for both phones, Apple filed claims with you, and I presume has been reimbursed by you. LONG STORY SHORT, YOU HAVE AN EMPLOYEE IPHONE THEFT PROBLEM IN CHARLOTTE THAT I HOPE YOU ARE ADDRESSING. As for me, I will never order an iPhone for home delivery again and will pick an alternate carrier on major purchases when given the option.
