I have been a customer of this financial institution for over 10+ years. I attended training for the Department of Homeland Security in 2014 whereby I forgot to notify PNC Bank that I would be traveling and using my PNC Credit/Debit card for multiple purchases. During my 6 1/2 week training I decided to go on a shopping spree. (That is retail therapy) However during this shopping spree, I was cut off from continuous use of my debit/credit card due to the multiple purchases. I was told by the retailer that I must contact PNC Bank to make any further purchases or use the card. I went to a secluded area and called PNC Bank. They verified that I was the owner of the card, and the only one using that card. Fast forward to 2024 and a fraudulent company that PNC is well aware of has stolen monies from my account. I have every alert there is to have to notify me of anything being deposited/withdrawn from my account. How is it that this known fraudulent company was able to take over $2,000 from me and I not be protected by PNC nor was the above process implemented for this overwhelming amount of monies. I am broke, disgusted, disappointed, dissatisfied and devastated that you allowed this fraudulent company to steal over $2,000 out of my account after I reported that they were making this attempt the day it happened. I even put a hold on my account. I suffered throughout the entire MLK Weekend with no monies or access to my monies that I trusted you to protect and keep in your financial institution. I filed a police report, I called several times to your fraudulent department and spoke with multiple representatives who were empathetic; but either rendered me misinformation, not enough information. I went into the bank to learn that I could not obtain any monies from my account due to the hold for fraudulent claim pending. The hold was lifted and I still do not have access to my monies. Instead you allowed the transaction from this fraudulent company to go through my account and take over $2,000 away from me. What and how am I supposed to pay my bills? I have a house note, electric, water bill due right now. It is cold in the Dallas Fort Worth area and If I suffer any longer, I will go to all of the News channels and inform them not to bank with PNC. I have been loyal to you as a customer even when you had no location in the Dallas Fort Worth state. I remained a customer until you opened up a few stores and later multiple stores. I deserve better and I hope this comment land in the hands of someone who will take action to assist me with a reimbursement of my over $2,000.
