Original Comment I have only had my Ram 1500 ecodiseal for a year and a half. I took it the Dodge dealership in Tuscaloosa, AL on August 29, 2023 to see what was wrong with it and was told that my high pressure fuel pump had gone out. The high pressure fuel pump is one of the parts that is on recall for this particular vehicle. I was informed that part was not available, however, they were able to find the parts needed to fix my vehicle. After having my vehicle for 4 going on 5 months they tells me that my vehicle now needs a brand new engine and will cost $25000. Keep in mind when I took my vehicle to the dealership there was nothing wrong with my engine. When I took my vehicle them in August they were very cooperative and returning my calls, since then they have yet to return my calls nor answer my calls. I have called the the corporate office four times and have not gotten any response. I am now considering contacting an attorney to represent me and find out why Dodge is having such bad service.
