Original Comment Bed bugs!! On 9-27-2012, 3 of us stayed in the Comfort Inn Lakeside in Mackinac City, MI. We had taken our friend on a special 2 week trip. As our friend turned back the covers on her bed, bed bugs scattered. She killed some and captured a live. She was moved to a different room that night, but could not sleep for fear of more bugs. We turned in the evidence the next morning and the desk person was totally uncaring. Asked to speak to manager. He was unavailable the night it happened and still unavailable next morning. We were told he would call to discuss situation and any adjustment to cost. One week, no call. Charge is being disputed. No more Comfort Inns in our future. Very poor customer relations.
