I've been a loyal Pacific NW Bell, USWest, Qwest, and CenturyLink customer for 38 years. I thought that Qwest admin & customer service was crummy but CL takes the cake. USWest created a great feature called "One Number Service". You can still see a page on the web that touts it http://qwest.centurylink.com/residential/vmlons/learn/index.html . Then, my home phone stopped ringing. After calling support 4 days in a row, I finally find out that they are "phasing out" the feature and they've known about problems generated by the use of the new smart phones that interfere with its proper operation. I received no notification. My home phone hasn't rung for 3 weeks.
