Original Comment My husband &amp; I have been on the road in our RV since March (5 months so far). We only get our mail every two or three months. Yesterday when I decided to get a couple of travel books I realized my membership had expired 2 wks. ago. I've been a member for 20+ yrs. so figured I could just pay my dues at the ofc. in Maple Grove, MN. The woman there told me that since my membership originated in NC I'd have to pay online or over the phone. They couldn't/wouldn't give me any books until I'd done that. There was no offer to help me do that. So I left empty handed.<br /> <br /> We have AARP and Good Sam, so I guess I'll research the rest of the trip online and say goodbye to AAA.
