AT&T's website lists my newly constructed house as "green" for UVerse. After the fourth installation attempt (the first two were canceled with a no-show and no explanation, the third just said 'hardware issues') I was told that I am too far for reliable service. The fourth rep was very communicative and explained all of the details. Yet even after all of this, and almost 3 months, AT&T's site still says I'm 'green' for Uverse preventing me from ordering any other services. This is also pushing me toward dropping my AT&T mobile services in favor of Sprint but that is another thread.

I received a letter from David Banks today that said they would do "Whatever it takes" to get me back. I'm offering the challenge to AT&T - put your money (literally) where your mouth is. Show me. Add a Uverse node closer to my neighborhood and elevate me and all of my neighbors out of the digital dark ages and help us ditch the satellite internet. Neighborhoods on all sides of us have access to Uverse but we were somehow abandoned.

Let's see if AT&T can overcome their reputation and live up to a promise. Let's see if they can create a few happy customers.

Challenge accepted??
