Original Comment I have called trac fone five times since September 9th about transferring minutes from my husbands phone to a trac fone that I had used previously. Melinda transferred the minutes to my phone and then proceeds to tell me I need a new sim card to be able to use the new phone. Told I would receive sim card in 5-7 days it has been four weeks no sim card was told it would be expiedited by three different people called again today was transferred to three different people I ended up screaming at the last person out of frustration because my husband has heart disease and I need a phone for him in case of emergency and can't reach my wall phone. Now I've been told by Gerber that they will send me a sim card but won't be shipped out until MOnday October 20, 2014. If I ever get the new sim card I will use up all the minutes and find another phone carrier.
