Original Comment I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and the battery saver mode kept coming on. I took it to the Dodge here in Gainesville, Florida to be tested and everytime they would tell me that nothing was wrong, that they checked the charging system and everything was fine. Yesterday the battery saver mode came on again in the car, so I took it back to the dealership and they ran a charging system test and found the alternator to be bad. What's funny to me is that when I brought the car to the dealership and it was being checked, why couldn't they just say that it was the alternator. at one point one of the service reps told me the battery saver mode was on because I was taking too many short trips. What I do know is that I will never buy another Dodge if they can't stand behind their product by employing people knowledgeable enough.
