We Had My Sons Truck Painted For His Birthday/christmas Present At The Maaco In Danville Va. I Called Weeks In Advance To Plan This All Out Because I Live An Hour From There And My Husband And I Work 2 Hours From There. My Son Goes To School And Works Everyday After School So Arrangements Had To Be Made To Get Him Back And Forth. When I Called I Spoke To John Barnard The Manager And The Arrangements Were Made To Drop The Vehicle Off On 10-3-14 And He Said It Would Be Ready The Following Wednesday. I Told Him That We Would Be Up There To Pick It Up On Thursday 11-6-14. On Wednesday I Called To See What Time We Could Pick Up The Truck On Thursday To Which John Said He Would Call Us Because He Wanst Sure. He Said It Might In The Morning Or The Afternoon. My Husband And I Took A Day Off Work To Be Able To Pick It Up. So Thursday Comes And We Hear Nothing So At 3 We Call To See When We Should Head That Way Because We Live 1 Hour Away And John Says It Will Not Be Ready Until Friday. Which Of Course Is Upsetting And I Ask Him What Happened To It Being Ready On Thursday And I Explained To Him That We Had Taken Days Off Work And Had Just Sat There All Day Waiting For His Call. He Showed No Concern At All. On Friday We Take Another Day Off To Be Able To Get The Truck. My Husband Call That Morning To Make Sure It Is Going To Be Finished And Is Told That It Will Be. We Get There Around 3:00 And John Pulls The Truck Around Front. The First Thing We See Is That The Grille Is Broken And The Hood Has Chips And Runs In It. John Agrees That The Paint Job On The Hood Is Not Good He Says That His Guys Did Not Break The Grille. He Says Leave The Truck And We Will Repaint The Hood And That We Can Pick It Up On Monday. I Ask Him Were They Going To Knock Any Money Off Due To The All The Inconvenince And The Messed Up Grille And He Said He Would See What He Could Do. I Called The 800 Number Customer Service And Make A Complaint And Was Told That I Would Receive A Call Back Within 48 Hours.<br /> Monday 11-10-14 My Husband And Son Went To Pick Up The Truck. The Hood Is Better. John Agreed To Replace The Grille And It Needs To Be Picked Up Today--so That Will Be 3 Trips To Danville 1 Hour Away--- And He Did Not Take Any Money Off. My Husband Ask For The Owners Name And Number. <br /> I Called The Owner Pat Nichols And Spoke To Her About All These Concerns And All She Basically Said Was That John Should Have Not Given Us A Date To Be Able To Pick Up The Truck Because They Work As A Production Line And Something Could Go Wrong And So They Can Not Give You A Definite Date And That She Was Sorry About My Dissatisfaction. <br /> <br /> Once My Husband Got Home He Noticed There Is A Run On Drivers Fender And The Toyota Letters On The Back Of The Truck Were Put Back On Crooked. I Called The 800 Customer Service Line To Ask Why Noone Had Returned My Call And To Also Update My Complaint. I Was Told That They Would Re Submit My Complaint. <br /> This Morning Someone Named Shamika Called From Corporate About My Complaint And She Said That She Saw In My Complaint That I Had Already Spoke To The Owner Pat And That All They Do At Corporate Is Mediate Between The Customer And The Owner. So If I Had Already Spoke To Pat There Was Really No Need For Me To Talk To Her. I Informed Her That Since I Had Spoke To Pat We Had Noticed More Problems And That I Wanted To Speak Someone Over Pat And Shamika Said That She Had No Authority To Offer Me Any Money Back That I Would Need To Speak To Pat. So I Ask Her To Please Have Pat Call Me When She Was Able To Talk To Me.<br /> So Here I Sit Waiting For A Phone Call<br /> And The Grille Is Supposed To Be Picked Up Today And If I Had To Bet I Would Bet It Is The Wrong Grille<br /> I Told Shamika I Feel That They Should At The Minimum Refund Me Enough Money To Be Able To Pay Someone To Put On The Grille, Repaint The Drivers Fender, And Put The Letters On Straight On The Back Of The Truck. She Just Repeated That Was Up To Pat.<br /> <br /> In Looking At All The Complaints I Have Read And My Own I Feel That Corportate Needs To Get Involved More Then Just Being A Mediator Because In My Opinion If Things Continue To Be Like This Someone Needs To Shut Down This Franchise.<br /> I Have Never Been Involved In Any Kind Of Poor Customer Service Like This In My Life. Its As If They Know They Provide Bad Service And Really Dont Care.
