I purchased two pair of frames from Lens Crafters in January of this year. One was a pair of red and black Ralph Lauren and the others were black and orange ray bans. I am 25 years old and I have been wearing eye glasses my entire life so I know about caring for glasses. This was my first and last time purchasing from lens crafters. About 2-3 months ago my glasses seemed to look as if they were dirty but it was like inside the lenses. I took my glasses back to the store I purchased them from and the employee said that the film that is on the lenses was wearing off from me cleaning them with my shirt. paper towel and so forth. I explained to her that I may have wiped my glasses with my shirt once or twice since I have had them from January and that I have taken care of these glasses better then I have ever taken care of any because of how expensive they were. I have purchased glasses from Walmart, Americas best, everywhere and this has NEVER happened to me!!! I have worn all different types of glasses and this by far has been my worse experience. The public aid glasses I used to have when I was younger when my parents could not afford designer frames held up better then these glasses. I am so disappointed and disgusted that my lenses are destroyed. When I went up there to show them what had happened they told me the only thing they could do for me is 30% off some new lenses. I refuse to ever purchase again from Lenscrafters and I have made sure to let my District know that our employees know also. I have also let my friends and family know also
