I purchased a Maytag washing machine in good faith, and after seven weeks it ceased working. It took five weeks and over a dozen calls to Pearson's appliance in Fairfield, CA (where it was purchased) and Maytag to get it repaired. During the course of the five weeks of being without a working washer, I incurred over $100 in laundromat fees, which Maytag has promised to re-imburse me for. I still have received nothing, and each time I call Maytag, their "systems are down" and no one can help me. This has been the worst customer-service experience that I have ever had. This corporation is everything bad that a consumer could imagine. They truly don't care about their customers, and I would have been better off buying a used washing machine on Craigslist than a new Maytag. Buy another brand, and stay away from Pearson's Appliance if you live in Northern California.
