Original Comment Bought a Kenmore Elite dishwasher in June 2013 for $1,100. Broke this month June 2015 and repair tech could not fix it. Coming back again to see what else they could try. Was told we should have bought the warranty by Sears. So every time an appliance is purchased you should assume it will break and spend the extra $400 for a warranty? Spoke to customer service at Sears...useless. Dishwasher has 2 year warranty on parts, sutomer service told me one year. I have the Kenmore book that says 2. Was in the process of replacing all my appliances with Kenmore Elite - double oven, large stove top, french door refrigerator. Zero confidence and will be switching brands. Terrible cusotmer service. Cancelling my Sears credit card also----- Would like to see Sears stand behind what they sell----
