I was told I *had* to upgrade my phone & internet to U-Verse because nothing else would be supported by the company anymore. Of course it's more expensive! I've found out that other people on my street still have the old service, so I was lied to. Every 3-4 months, my service goes out and it's out for days. The outages are cause by an old junction box & when service techs work on the box to do something for another customer, my service gets knocked out. Nobody at AT&T knows about the problem until I call & then it's a low priority to get fixed. Even though I spend several minutes at the beginning of each call telling people that my land line is out, that's the only way I get called back! Reps don't listen, techs do sloppy work, supervisors don't call me back and nobody takes ownership of the problem.
