I really love the chicken bowls. However, after my visit to the KFC/LJS store in Casselberry, FL yesterday, I plan to make my own in the future. I had a very unpleasant run-in with a female manager regarding receipts I had for free "go cups" which I was unable to process online because there was no survey code on the receipts. She didn't want to listen and insisted I "follow the instructions" on the receipt. I have been doing this for at least a year without success. She assured me there had always been a link to click on if there was no code on the receipt. I knew there hadn't been and told her (strongly) that there had not been. I turned to leave and heard her laughing. Still walking out, I said "You're an idiot". A male customer then said "That's not very nice", to which I did not respond. I'm sure it wasn't very nice, it wasn't meant to be. Her telling me I didn't know what I was talking about wasn't very professional or courteous, either. The receipt states I had to buy a drink to get the free "go cup", but the in-store signage said it comes with a drink. This "manager" told me they sell it both ways. I don't think so. I think KFC is just ripping people off, saying the "go cup" is free but you have to buy the drink which usually comes with it! Guess how many more times I'll shop at this restaurant?????? I quit shopping there a few years ago for the very same reason, but decided to give it another try a year or so ago. Some things don't change. I was going to contact corporate, but from the postings I've seen online, it would be a waste of time. Apparently they don't care.
