Original Comment we called sears because we had bought a Kenmore washer and dryer about six months ago. last week everytime I opened the dryer the handle came off. our last dryer was 12 yrs. old, never had a problem. anyway, we called sears, gave them the model number and anything else they asked for. they sent a serviceman [about 4 days later] and he did not have the part!!! he said he would have to order it! meanwhile he keep opening and closing the dryer. when he left I tried to open the dryer and the handle came off and would not go back on. obviously the serviceman broke it off completely. now I can't open the door and I have to wait for the delivery of the part. it was not made very well if this happens!
