Last night at 10:00 pm while checking my PNC Checking account to see is pending deposits had been posted. I found an overdraft charge. I contacted the bank this morning who said that I was overdrawn because my insurance payment had gone through. However; looking at my account on line it showed that I had $2.40 in my account with 2 pending transactions. which mean they were waiting, along with the deposit. The bank says that the insurance payment is what overdrew my account. I explained that when I looked at my account, it showed my balance to be in the positive not the negative. That there were no negative transactions other than the overdraft fee. Never the less, they were not helpful, I believe that they purposely misrepresent account information on line to charge overdraft fees. I am looking for a lawyer to start a class action lawsuit to force this bank to stop these illegal transactions.
