On August 7, 2017, I bought my first, and probably my last, John Deere riding mower, the D160, 25 horse. At 53 hours of use, the belt broke. The cleaning mechanism using the garden hose never worked very well. The lubrication points on the deck cannot be accessed without removing the deck. The grass/weed cuttings cling to the underside of the deck accumulating like magnets, quickly!, and I'm not mowing wet grass. Why can't they put some teflon on the underside? My International Harvester tractor worked much better and longer, along with my Cub Cadet on which I put 500 hours, belts never broke, and I maintained it myself. I am an old lady who loves to do simple maintenance, but this John Deere is NOT USER FRIENDLY. Caveat emptor. BUYER BEWARE!
