Original Comment My wife and I went out to dinner yesterday evening to the taco Bell in the community next to us the closest one and my first question that I wanted to ask was isn't it mandatory for employees to wear masks in restaurants I understand if they're over a fryer or fire they don't have to. as I entered the store there were two people sitting in the dining area looks like in employee uniforms on and another gentleman walking around in the dining area which appeared to be supposedly closed. in the back side and yelled out I will be with you in a minute as he's talking to somebody on his speaker phone arguing with them. I had noticed that no one had a mask on at that store and there might have been 7 maybe 8 people there and I waited and I waited after I don't know maybe five or six minutes the gentleman never did come to the register the people in the back looked at me but didn't come to the register and again they did not have a mask on preparing food for the drive to window. So I proceeded to walk out.then the gentleman that was on his phone walking around yelled out are you ready to place your order yet and as I'm walking out I could still hear the person on the other end of the phone that he was talking to. he said it 3 or 4 times I continued to leave. so then I went to the other taco Bell and that was maybe 3 miles down the road and I walked in there and the only person wearing a mask out of about seven or eight was the girl at the register that waited on me. A gentleman came in behind me with an apron over his shoulder went to the restroom came back out I assumed he was clocking in on the register I'm not sure and then he put his mask on walk back to where the cooking or prepping area was and proceeded to put his apron on. and I understand that you can't get your own hot sauces but the girl asked me if I wanted some and I told her what I wanted my mistake I should have checked the bag before I left but there was no hot sauces in there. Two gentlemen without mask prepared my food I'm 63 years old and my wife has immune deficiency although she didn't go in hopefully neither one of us get sick. we did call the store when we got back and ask what the procedure was and with the state of Ohio it is they have to wear masks in the kitchen I would think with the state of Ohio and as in California being that there is an uptick in the virus that you would have your employees wearing the mask. Going back to my wife said when she called the store and asked what their policy was they said it was to wear a mask so we will be contacting the health department. we did not yet we thought we'd give you the benefit of the doubt of your response. So when I got home last night I also called your 800 number and held on there for 25 minutes and it said somebody was coming I did take a screenshot of that with the time stamp and your phone number if you'd like to see it then today once again I called the same 800 number and the same thing 25 minutes and I did take a screenshot for you then I saw that there was another number 959 number I believe area code I tried that number and I got three rings and disconnected. again I would like a response from your corporate office and we will not be going to any taco bells from here out.
