Caution...Timberland will steal from you. I ordered a pair of the $160.00 customized Women's Nellies for my daughter for Xmas, they would have been her 2nd pair. When they arrived it was immediately obvious they were the Women's Chukka Nellies that are listed for $135.00 on the website. Although they are very similar they are different and NOT the pair my daughter wanted or I paid for. I contacted Customer Service and was instructed to send pictures which I did. After 4 phone calls with no help I was told by one of the Customer Service Team Leaders that they were indeed the wrong boot. She said she would contact the Customs Dept. and get back to me. She sent me an email later that day stating that the Customs Dept. will not admit to being wrong and the only thing she can offer me is a 20% refund. I tried twice to call and speak directly to her but today I was told by another member of management that it doesn't matter what she told me, she couldn't take my call and if Customs said they customized the right boot then they are right and I don't have a leg to stand on. The story goes on and on. This manager who was rude and totally disrespectful never even looked at my file or the pictures I had sent in, he immediately sided with the Customs Dept. It was the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I have the pictures of both boot styles and proof that the boots are different not to mention I have the new (wrong) boots in the box. Timberland doesn't care about returning customers, the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and the person I spoke to on the phone today flat out lied to me. Avoid Timberland at all costs unless you have unlimited funds and don't care if they steal your money. All I wanted is the correct boots that I ordered for my daughter for Xmas and that I already paid for. Now I have a pair of $160.00 boots sitting in a box that she doesn't want and Timberland refuses to make right. Another interesting fact is that now there is a banner across the Custom page of their website stating that they are shutting down the customizing dept....Really!
