Original Comment Today my car broke down in the 98 degree heat. I called AAA to have it towed about 5 miles to the dealership/shop I was heading to. They asked me why I was going there and I told them to either trade it in or have it fixed. They said they would not tow it to be traded it, they will only tow it to a shop or my house. I reiterated that it is indeed also a shop and if I do not trade it in, they will be fixing it. The lady said no. I called back a few moments later to try to explain it to a different person who might understand this dealership is also a mechanic shop. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes. By this time, I've driven in another vehicle to the dealer/mechanic. The lady took me off hold and said she just called the place I was trying to have it towed and they said they are not a mechanic shop. Little did she know, I was at the business, only 2 people were working, and the denied anyone calling and speaking to them and tolf the AAA people they were lying. You don't get to lie to your customers to try to save money on a tow. I plan to call back tomorrow. How unprofessional and just plain gross.
