Original Comment Absolutely the worst nightmare. Waited 3 hours for promised tow to arrive NO LATER THAN 8:29p no show. Another request tow to arrive NO LATER THAN 9:17p. No call no show. Driving away from broken down car in a rental and a large truck literally rear ends me going about 40 mph, backed away, hit it again and drove off. The truck was jacked up, all white crew cab with the first three letters of truck JTV. Had Triple AAA honored their original agreement of providing a tow at the time(s) represented, most likely I would not have been exposed to this act of a "hit and run" violence. I spoke to United Towing, a young man named Carter who shared that the tow order(s) represented by Triple AAA had never been put in. Triple AAA's customer representatives lacked any type or example of empathy, or any sense of urgency. Regulatory agencies you can report to are the FTC (fraud, misrepresentation), The Dept of Ins , and your state's Attorney General Office as well as the Office of Consumer Affairs.
