Original Comment I don't remember having State Farm insurance however last night I did something very stupid and dangerous at 11 pm at night. I locked myself out of my car after forgetting to turn off my lights and the battery was dead. I called for roadside assistance and explained all the above plus the fact that my cell phone was also going dead. Did I mention that I work in an inner city area and the first thing they ask is are you safe (they really don't care). I explained my situation the first person super great. However the person who she transferred to was did not understand that it was 11pm at night. I did not know if I was safe or not and I was not in an ideal situation. I ended up hanging up and accepting help from a total stranger who actually helped me out of the goodness of his heart while State Farm roadside assistance could not even do what they are paid to do! Come policy renewal time might have to rethink State Farm auto insurance and as long as rethinking auto policy might as well rethink their homeowners policies also!
