Original Comment I went to the IHOP in Richmond Kentucky this morning. They posted a sign that they were short staffed and there were about eight people waiting in the lobby. The restaurant was not full at all because I saw plenty of empty tables. The issue I had, was that nobody was acknowledging the people that walked in, and gave their party size. I simple just stood there for 5 minutes before I decided to just write my name down on their waiting list. Now being so short handed isn't that bad of an issue, but it reflected poorly on the place. I then began to question the quality of their work and if my food would even be cooked good enough. If they're that short staff then what kind of meal am I going to get. I waited for another ten minutes and I just felt that I wasn't going to get the quality food that I was expecting, and left.
