Jack Assistant manager<br /> Hadley associate<br /> Arrived at approximately 4:00pm from leaving the Lenox mall location because it was closed.<br /> Hadley was the associate that assisted me.<br /> Upon entering I was greeted by Jack and he asked 3 questions did I have insurance , my prescription ,and was I already in there system. I told him &quot;I had a prescription and insurance but wasn't sure if I was in there system because I started a transaction once and ended it once I found out the total&quot;. Hadley helped me as best he could with 2 pair of (Prada)glasses I had shown him on your company website. As I was looking for a 3rd pair of (Ray ban) glasses for work Jack approached me and asked if there was anything that I wanted to give him so I asked him &quot;What?&quot; As though I needed him to repeat himself so he asked again did I have anything in my pockets to give to him so I again asked what do you mean? As I emptied my pockets showing him I only had my belongings he tried to laugh the situation off and made it seem as if he was asking &quot;Did I have any money in my pocket because I needed to hurry and pick glasses because the store was closing soon&quot;while looking at his watch and he then again laughed that off as though he was joking . (Not once did he say he apologized for me thinking he was accusing me of stealing after watching me empty my pockets) Hadley blurted out from across the room &quot;Jack you even had me confused there for a second&quot;. I also made the comment that &quot;Jack had me confused also&quot;. As I proceeded to the counter with my 3rd pair of glasses to see what my total would be with Hadley Jack walks over throwing all kinds of discounts at me as if he was trying to sooth the situation over. You could feel the vibe of the establishment was changed immediately (Mind you there was only me and 1 other customer being served). My total came out higher than what he discounted it to initially so he intervened again and gave another discount to honor the initial total and he also offered a discount on a 3rd pair if I were to come back to purchase another day. I paid them for there services and Hadley notified me that I would receive a email on a survey of my experience and he made sure he made mention that it was a personal survey so I let him know he did a great job which he did(we both gave each other a look like we know what had just transpired) and I left the establishment. Once I made it to the parking lot I called a friend to tell them about my experience and as I got down the road I received a phone call from Jack around 4:50pm apologizing for his actions because he now says a coworker notified him that they noticed I was uncomfortable with him because he accused me of having something in my pockets and that he wanted to insure that he was not insinuating that. I told him everything was ok but in actuality I felt like I was racially profiled by Jack as a thief and I believe Hadley notified him of his actions as I left the establishment even though he already felt it him self inside but couldn't fix the damage he had already caused so he hoped no one noticed.
