Original Comment I purchase an new Maytag Refrigerator /Freezer, 25 cu ft about 2 years ago. We also purchase the Extended Service Warranty all from the local Dallas, TX Maytag Dealer.<br /> I called them today to get a repair made to the Ice Maker and they informed me that don't do Extended Warranty Service anymore. They told me that they farmed that out and could not give me the name of the company or contact information.<br /> So, I called Maytag Corporate office. I spoke with Ashley and she could absolutely not help me with the local dealer or this service problem. This is not the old Reliable, Professional Maytag Company I have known over the years. After reading some of the other comments I can readily beleive it won't be long before Maytag is gone.
