i had taken the sunday only special for 8 weeks and before the 8th week expired i could call the customer service number on my receipt and cancel as long as it was befor the end of the 8th week so on the 3rd of december i called to cancel the suscription because i checked my bank and found out that la times had billed me before the 8th week ending period and tried to bill me ahead so they could say i called late to cancel the suscription the delivery started on 10/7 i called 12/3 and they billed my card on 12/2 so i called canceled the sunday paper asked that my money be put back on my card they told me that it would take 5 to 7 days when the transaction was pending they had not received the payment yet but refused to stop the transaction want me to wait until the get the money and then have to reverse the transaction back to my card i want my money now they billed me before the end of the 8th week and trying to force me to take the paper for 8 more weeks no i want my money back then tried to offer me the same 8 weeks for only a dollar a week and they would refund the balance i said no i want the option to make the decision without being forced or trying to cover up your billing ahead of time i don't like it i want my money now my address is angela turner thank you
