We used Medco for years, especially since our insurance co required that refills be mail ordered thru them. Nothing but constant aggravation. Now Express Scripts is just as bad.

We are a couple in our 60's and we are prescribed a lot of rx's for chronic stuff. Several rx's for each of us, from different doctors, constantly refilled and almost always a delay or problem. Their "worry-free- refills" are a joke.
We are always worried!
Phone messages and letters constantly arrive tellling us that a certain medication cannot be shipped until they have a valid shipping address. If we happen to miss one of these messages then the medication isn't shipped and the rx order disappears into the void. The result is that we often dont' receive a needed medication and it takes phone calls, time on hold, and shipping delays to finally get medication sent.
We do change our shipping address a few times a year as we are snowbirds and live in Massachusetts and California. We update our address when we move but Express Scripts is constantly asking us for our 'valid shipping address'. So frustrating! To top it off, they send letters asking for a valid address to an address that we are not using on the website.
Is this system of constantly asking for 'valid shipping address' a ploy so that they can delay filling rx's and then they save money?!
I order many items online from sites such as Amazon, Overstock, Target, LL Bean, etc. Have never had such bad service.
Going in to a pharmacy we can have rx's filled in 20 minutes or so. Express Scripts takes 10 business days!?
We should all protest to our insurance providers about being forced to use this company.
