Original Comment CLASS ACTION SUIT anyone???? I see now that tons of folks have been raked over the coals by Tracphone. I've had mine for about 4.5 years and bought it to use on the US Census. After that I kept it as an emergency phone in my car. I've charged it periodically and never had an issue. Back in the end of June (beginning of July) I bought 90 minutes because I was going to take a couple of trips and wanted to make sure I had the minutes. This is Oct 8th and I am going somewhere again so I took the phone out to charge it and guess what? I have over EIGHTY MINUTES left that I paid for already and they say unless I go and spend more money on a card for minutes my phone will not be activated again. I talked to 4 different foreign people and asked each one specifically to transfer me to a representative in the United States. I stated that I read it is a law that if you demand to transferred to the US you have to be. They kept giving me the same runaround over and over and over. She said &quot;You have used your time but not your minutes--in order for you to gain your minutes you must buy a new card to extend the time period&quot; I asked her-----hey--I have had this phone for all these years without this problem---I have had minutes sitting on there for a long time--Why now is this suddenly different? I asked for refund for the minutes I paid for. She kept declining to help me. I asked her the date when I first signed up and she said she 'could not give me that information'. I said, &quot;It's MY ACCOUNT and you can't give me my information????? I asked her to look at my usage after the flurry of the US Census. I said, you will see that I barely ever used the phone after that--I just kept it for emergencies&quot; She again replied that she couldn't give me that information. My usage dates NEVER expired before. I am so mad and all of you are too. I will be contacting an attorney regarding the practices of this company. That's not all, either...remember when I said I worked on the United States Census? I had to provide my records to the government so I could be reimbursed for the costs. Do you know I spent HOURS and HOURS and HOURS and heart palpitations on the phone with this company trying to get MY OWN CALL records so I could get my money? I JUST barely made the deadline and I was sweating it out because it was a large amount of money and the offices were breaking down and wouldn't<br /> y exist anymore. I think we should all band together and file a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
