Original Comment NEVER EVER AGAIN will I stay at a Days Inn. My 2 sisters and I booked a room with 2 beds, 3 months in advance before a Chiefs game. After driving 5 hours we are told when we get there they had rented our room out to someone else!! No apology!! No explanation! The manager was the most unprofessional woman I had ever seen. She pretty much just told us to wait while she cleans another room for us. Her kids were playing behind the desk too this whole time. We ended up with 1 king bed, broken fridge, dirty pillow cases, dirty towels, a window with no screen, the most horrible hotel room I had ever been in. The price was $150 a night and it wasn't worth $29.99. Then later that night, we were harassed 4 times by the manager about smoking in the room and we were not even smoking!! 4 TIMES she knocked on the door (nevermind the do not disturb sign we hung) and told us not to smoke. It was absolutely rediculous. The worst hotel experience ever!! Days Inn needs to shut their doors now!!! It was in Kansas City, Mo. 5100 E lynwood blvd. STAY AWAY!!
