I bought a new tracfone in November....and I wanted to keep my old phone number and the data on my old tracfone. Tracfone sent me a new sim card to insert in the new phone and said they had transferred all the info to that sim card. The phone would not accept the sim card....so they sent me another sim card to my home address after arguing that I did not have a valid US Post Office address. When that sim card was received, I called Tracfone and after 3 hours on the phone trying to get the phone to accept the sim card, the operator at Tracfone finally decided that there was something wrong with the phone...WELL DUH!!!. I was transferred to another department who said they would send me a phone with a sim card and all of my info from my former phone to my home within 5 to 7 days. They again argued with me about my address (which we have had for about 20 years) stating it was not a valid US Post Office address even though they had sent two sim cards to that address priorily. I did not receive the new phone within a month and recently called them about the phone....they told me the reason I had not received the phone was because of not having a valid address. After an hour of arguing with the Tracfone person, I gave up as my blood pressure was out of sight. They still owe me a phone, the minutes on my old phone and the minutes they added from a card I had at the time of the second call to them. They are very hard to talk to and I am furious. I still want the phone I paid for with my old info and the minutes they owe me. Would be nice if someone would contact me.
