Original Comment I have a 13 month old kenmore refrigerator in a house im selling about 60 miles from my home model that doesn't get cold anymore. Imagine that!! I called sears, they said call whirlpool, I called whirlpool, they said they needed the serial number, i drive to the house on the weekend and called back with the serial number Monday morning and they said they need the model number too, (like they don't have it from my purchase). Drove back to the house the next week end and got the model number. Called whirlpool Monday morning and was told they don't build this kenmore refrigerator. Called kenmore "customer care" and spoke with a guy named ace, said he would look into getting the unit repaired under warranty and would call me back the next day. Two days later I call kenmore again and they don't have any record that ace was doing anything to help me, imagine that!! Was told the warranty had expired and essentially if it's broke in two I get to keep both pieces.. I have no confidence in sears kenmore now and will not so much as a buy a screwdriver from them ever again. Hey kenmore, contact me if you dare!
